RAD Spray SPF 25 – Antioxidant-rich sun care

The long awaited RAD Spray SPF 25 has finally arrived! This innovative free-radical quenching lotion meets the needs of those who require a hard working suncare with multiple benefits.

RAD SPF 15, Environ’s original suncream, was launched 22 years ago and remains one of the world’s most effective sunscreen products, combining both reflective and absorbent sunscreens together with a brigade of antioxidants. RAD was a world first in including an antioxidant vitamin complex in a suncream to address those rays that escape through the sun protection factors and get into the skin where they cause damage by creating free radicals.

RAD Spray SPF 25 has even better UVA protection and the addition of new protective ingredients, provides a lighter, fluid formulation that spreads more easily over the skin while retaining all the benefits of the original RAD cream. This broad spectrum sun lotion contains four different sunscreen elements which offer UVA and UVB protection that is also increased by the inclusion of the various antioxidants and vitamins contained in the formula:

•      Vitamins C and E. Most sunscreen products offer inadequate protection against the harmful effects of the sun’s ultraviolet radiation. Researchers have found that the addition of antioxidant vitamins C and E play a vital role in protecting skin, helping prevent skin cancer and keeping skin firm and young looking.

•      Rosemary leaf extract and colourless carotenoids (lycopene) derived from tomatoes, which assist in protecting against free radicals and sun damage.

·         

•      Malt Secrets^® (barley seed extract) is rich in polyphenols and ferulic acid. This ingredient is proven to work in synergy with vitamins C and E and has excellent anti-ageing and antioxidant properties.

RAD Sun Spray SPF 25 is recognised by the Cancer Association of South Africa (CANSA) as a broad spectrum sunscreen providing adequate UVA and UVB protection.

RAD Spray should be applied liberally 15 minutes before sun exposure and re-applied frequently every 1½ to 2 hours for ongoing sun protection. It should also be re-applied after swimming, perspiring and outdoor activities.

It may be safely used by all ages including babies of six months and older.
